New Zealand’s largest gin producer is releasing a Gin & Tonic as it looks to add a delicious local option to the ready-to-drink landscape.

Scapegrace Distilling Co. has unveiled its Scapegrace Gin & Tonic with Hawke’s Bay Lemon, a premium New Zealand distilled G&T in a can.

The new serve pairs Scapegrace’s globally awarded dry gin with the citrus burst of Hawke’s Bay lemons to deliver a crisp, smooth and balanced finish, with fresh lemon top notes.

The beverage is Scapegrace’s first canned release in the Gin & Tonic RTD category and has been developed in response to consumer demand for a locally made, high-quality Gin & Tonic from a trusted New Zealand distillery.

Scapegrace co-founder Mark Neal says the launch of Scapegrace Gin & Tonic with Hawke’s Bay Lemon is a natural next step for the brand within the RTD category.

“Scapegrace has always been about elevating the RTD experience with real distilled spirits, ready to drink” said Neal.

“We’ve seen incredible momentum in gin over the past decade, and this new release will sit alongside our existing Gin and Soda RTD offering. It’s refreshing, it’s local, and it’s what a proper gin and tonic should taste like.”

Scapegrace Gin & Tonic with Hawke’s Bay Lemon (5% ABV) is available nationwide in 10-packs (330ml cans).
